A stamped translation of your diploma, certificate or contract, ready for the body that asked for it.

from NOK 820 / page (about 250 words) · 4–5 working days

Authorities, universities and employers often ask for a translation that is stamped. We prepare yours and have it stamped by a state-authorised translator (statsautorisert translatør) in our network. We tell you what is on the page, what it costs and when it will arrive before we begin.

WHO DOES THE WORK

Who does the work

Your document is translated and stamped by a state-authorised translator (statsautorisert translatør) in our network. risetranslate does not hold that title and does not claim it. We handle the order, the checking of your file and the delivery; the translator signs. State-authorised translation exists only for pairs into or out of Norwegian. Norwegian bodies such as UDI and NAV accept stamped translations in most cases. Always check with the receiving body, and tell us what they asked for.

What is on a certified translation

In Norway a translation is stamped by a state-authorised translator (statsautorisert translatør). risetranslate does not hold that title. The stamping is done by state-authorised translators in our network, and it exists only for language pairs with Norwegian.

  1. The stamp and signature of the translator.
  2. A statement that the translation matches the original.
  3. A copy of the original, attached.

Norwegian bodies such as UDI and NAV accept stamped translations in most cases. Check with the body that asked for the document.

Questions about Certified translation

Will UDI or NAV accept this?

In most cases, yes. Norwegian bodies commonly accept translations stamped by a state-authorised translator. We cannot promise it for every case, because the receiving body decides. Check their requirements and send them to us if you are unsure.

Can you certify a Polish to English translation?

No. State-authorised translation exists only for pairs with Norwegian. For other pairs we can translate and quote separately, but we cannot offer a stamp.

Do I need to send the original?

A clear scan or photo of every page is normally enough for a PDF translation. If the body wants paper, we post the stamped translation. Ask them whether they need the original as well.

What if the stamp is rejected because of a mistake?

If the mistake is ours, we correct it free of charge and re-issue. If the body wants a different kind of document, we will help you work out what they need.
